This policy explains what happens to data when you use EnviroStack. It is written to be readable rather than exhaustive; if something is unclear, ask at contact@enviro-stack.com.
Who is responsible
EnviroStack is an independent publication operated by its named author. Contact for any data question: contact@enviro-stack.com.
What is collected

We do not require an account. We do not ask for your name, employer, national ID, or any professional credential to read anything on this site.
Who processes data on our behalf
- Vercel — hosting. Processes requests and generates server logs.
- Google Analytics — audience measurement, only if you consent to analytics cookies. IP addresses are anonymised.
- Google AdSense — advertising. May set cookies and process data to select and measure advertisements, subject to your consent choices.
- Email provider — newsletter delivery, if you subscribe.
These are independent companies with their own privacy policies. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers beyond what the advertising system itself processes.
Consent
Analytics and advertising cookies are off by default. Nothing non-essential is set until you choose. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, your choices are collected through a consent management platform certified by Google, and personalised advertising is not served without your consent. You can change your choice at any time — see the cookie policy.
Retention
Analytics data is retained in aggregate. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe. Emails you send are kept as long as needed to deal with the matter and for a reasonable period afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop processing it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to contact@enviro-stack.com. Readers in Saudi Arabia have rights under the Personal Data Protection Law; readers in the EEA and UK have rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR. We apply the same handling to everyone regardless of location.
Children
This site is written for working professionals and students in higher education. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.
Changes
Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the "last updated" date above, and any change that expands what is collected will be made before the new processing starts, not after.
